This was Manisha's gtalk status message. It made me wonder. Really it does kinda make all that you do in your life seem pointless. You're gonna die anyway.So what's the use of anything you do if it's not lasting? If you're not lasting?
Wait a minute. This logic is based on the presumption that for something to be worthwhile, it has to persist - to remain in existance. But the only thing constant is change. So nothing else can persist. So does that make everything worthless? Of course not. But if persistance is not what makes something important then what does?

Well looking at everything so bluntly we can say "in the end I'm gonna die, so wats the point of doing it?" Actually considering your life will be pretty long (unless you are gonna die the very next moment or something),
* for that moment you have to go
shit, you can't reason it out with that silly in the end crap... else your recreational area cum drainage will get blocked and you might die eventually a slow & painful death you know.
* for that moment it's not like you have to fall in love or something, but you will fall in love with that beautiful gal you spotted a second ago. Then you are gonna marry her have kids have life of your own. Now I think you got the point, what makes something important- that thing is important because its going to be a part of your life, the life you are supposed to live as watever your parents have named you. Your life, your way. Well you do have choices. Pick that which makes your life more meaningful and the way you want it to be.
I hope I made myself clear. Samir has taken such a topic, commenting on it will take all my life -something I am definitely not ready to do.

Lots of stuff are a part of your life. Which ones of them are important? And when you say meaningful, what do you actually mean by that? Do mull on that.
